is another defensive back who continued to stand out this past season. He lined up at corner where he proved to be very effective in zone coverage. Cecil does a great job of dropping into his zone and reading routes then reacting quickly to flow through the secondary as needed. When the ball is thrown his way, he has shown very impressive ball skills, coming away with a team-high five interceptions in 14 games as a senior. He also finished the year with 51 tackles.

played a key role in Owensboro Catholic’s Round 1 victory over Fort Campbell. Cecil lined up at corner where he was very impressive in zone coverage, showing the ability to read route combinations then flow through his zone to put himself in position to make a play. When the ball was thrown his way, he showed impressive ball skills, coming away with two interceptions. He also finished the game with three tackles. Cecil should be a player for college coaches to keep an eye on over the next couple years. Jude and the Aces will look to continue their dominant season in a Round 2 matchup against Crittenden County this week.

is another corner who jumped onto my radar last season. He is at his best in man coverage where he uses his speed to run with opposing receivers with ease to mirror their routes. When the ball is thrown his way, he reacts with perfect timing and has shown impressive ball skills, coming away with a team-high four interceptions as a junior. He has also shown the ability to provided support against the run, finishing last season with 47 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. Cecil doesn’t currently hold any offers but he deserves some attention from college coaches as he definitely has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

. Cecil lines up on the outside at corner where he is at his best in man coverage. He does a great job of mirroring receivers’ routes then breaking in front of them with perfect timing to make a play when the ball is thrown his way. Cecil came away with a team-high four interceptions in 15 games as a junior. He also showed the ability to provide support against the run, finishing the season with 47 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. Cecil doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player who college coaches should definitely have their eyes on this season.
