Hutchins got his first few starts this year and had flashes and looked comfortable in the pocket. He’s got a good release and smooth throwing motion. He was fairly accurate and knew to lead his guys down the field. He’s willing to stand in the pocket and deliver the ball with pressure coming right in his face. He completed 60% of his throws for 772 yards and threw his first 3 TDs at the Varsity level. He trusts his receivers downfield and gives them chances. I’d like to see him protect the ball better moving forward, but I appreciate guys who are willing to stand in there and keep firing without letting a bad moment get in their head.
