Kincaide has really started to take his play to another level, and it all clicked this year. He not only doubled his production from year 1 starting, but it’s how he looked. He reads the field well and knows how to position himself to make a play. He’s a tackling machine with a nose for the ball.
Kincaide has had a big year for Noblesville and given them a steady piece in the middle of the defense. He’s got a fantastic build and can be as physical as anyone. He’s got good vision and can see things developing. He can find lanes to clog and shut down the run. He can run sideline to sideline and has the stamina to be up all game. You can really see his confidence has skyrocketed over the 2nd half of the year, which was big for the defense as a whole. He’s got 119 tackles, 4 TFLs, 2 sacks, and a PBU to his name as a junior.
Kincaide is a decent athlete who stepped in and started last year, and you could see him get a better feel for the game as the season went on. He’s got good vision when working through traffic and takes smart angles to the ball, which helps him stay in position and avoid getting washed out. He finished with 62 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, and forced 3 fumbles, showing he’s not just getting there but also making things happen when he does. I like how he plays under control and think he’s set up to keep trending in the right direction.
