Expert Analysis

Tough inside linebacker. Was a tackling machine as a sophomore, racking up 107 tackles. Great instincts, flows to the ball and posseses excellent range and athleticism. Good pursuit to the flat, takes great angles to ballcarriers, strong open-field tackler who doesn’t overpursue. Brother is a Division I player.

Oladipupo is a decent athlete with good range. He’s got a good feel for what he needs to do on the field and doesn’t try to do too much. He’ll stick to his assignments and make the play when it comes his way. He’s able to drop back into coverage as well. Oladipupo put up 107 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and forced 3 fumbles on the year.

McDermott’s teammate at Noblesville High is a strong MIKE linebacker prospect. He is quick in pursuit and displays being a good mover in space. He is an effective tackler who wraps up well, but also flashes ability to be a thumper. He is the younger brother of Boston College commit

Oladipupo is more than having a breakout season but this is a season where he may very well put himself near the top of many boards. He’s impressive and this is just the beginning. He’s a high-motor player who sniffs out the ball as well as anyone you’ll come across. Friday night alone he had 20 tackles. On the year this gives him 58 tackles and a forced fumble. I don’t anticipate him slowing down and only getting better as the reps and experience come.

Forcing his way onto the field as a sophomore and making big plays is Oladipupo, whose older brother is a stud in his own right. With Praise, you’ve got a young and rangy linebacker who flies around the field. He tracks the ball as well as anyone and can wrap up in space as well as being the one to make the tackle in the pile. He’s not afraid to go for the ball and try forcing the turnover. With 34 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and a forced fumble through the first month of the season, it’s safe to say Oladipupo is developing right before our eyes.
