Stobbe was just a pure force upfront, the North Dakota commit at times was having his way with the Wolves front. All night he was creating space and working second level kicking out defenders whenever he got the chance. The strength in the run game was apparent but it was also impressive seeing him work through pass pro. Stobbe was barely, if even, letting defenders beat him when he had to stand his one on one matchups. The future Fighting Hawk has shown why he is so valuable and will continue to be a key factor of that offensive line.

A very recent North Dakota commit, William consistently has caught my eyes time after time this spring and into summer with how much he has developed from the 2022 season. What did William show me at NDSU? The continuing growing fluidity he has in his hands for sure, as this kid was certainly violent in the 1v1 reps I got to watch in Fargo. He also showed off that continued growing advanced pad-level and an excellent base at the point of attack. I always had William in my eyes as a Division I prospect and he proved truth to that on June 29th, coming to the Fighting Hawks next year. Congratulations William!
I’m super excited to announce my commitment to the University of North Dakota! I want to thank my family, coaches, teammates, and most importantly God for making this dream a reality.#LGH 🦅🟢⚪️@UNDfootball @BubbaSchweigert @pawlakjoe @dfreund7 pic.twitter.com/tqxzbutK2l

I love watching William’s first step off the snap at left tackle, as he very early shows off that finish within his punching ability college coaches should be eyeing up at the next-level. William also does a great job at defensive tackle with how much excellent leverage he can get with his pad level heading downhill and has the athletic ability to run his course into the backfield. I also love the range William can cover with his 6’4 270 pound frame defensively, as he’s a DT prospect that will presume well outside the inside box to go get the ball carrier in pursuit. I am quite surprised with all the versatility William has on both sides of the ball for Waukee, that he doesn’t have an offer yet as there is plenty Division I level ability in all of his skillsets in my eyes. William is also a stellar student in the classroom with nearly a 3.9 GPA.
