The talented lefty received an offer from Culver-Stockton College in December. Be on the lookout for schools closer to Nevada to revisit Victor’s tape and offer the accurate passer before spring gets here. Victor shows a good combination of accuracy and anticipation leading receivers through tight windows in zone coverage. Good toughness and pocket presence gets displayed evading pass rushers in the pocket and delivering accurate deep balls in the face of pressure. Victor’s strength, quick feet, and accuracy on the run highlights his ability to extend plays with his arm when forced to operate outside of the pocket.

Plotnikov capped off his impressive senior season completing 18/26 passes for 196 yards and 2 TDs and rushed for another TD in Centennial’s 49-31 win over Sunrise Mountain in the 4A championship. The senior QB was one of the most productive passers in Nevada this season totaling over 3,000 passing yards and 40 TDs, helping Centennial go from winless in 2022 to 11-1 state champions in 2023. Plotnikov is one of the unoffered QBs available in Nevada.

Plotnikov completed 12/20 passes for 259 yards and 2 TDs in Centennial’s 35-28 win over Somerset Academy Losee in the 4A Desert Region final. He connected with junior WR Dale Flores Jr. for two explosive plays in the passing game (5 catches, 162 yards, TD), navigated the pocket extremely well, and flashed velocity into tight windows. Plotnikov’s had an extremely productive senior season throwing for over 2,700 yards and 38 TDs while turning Centennial into a 10-1 state finalist after finishing 0-9 in 2022. Centennial will face Sunrise Mountain in the 4A state championship at Allegiant Stadium on Tuesday, 11/21 at 3:40pm.

4A Desert Championship Highlights

Plotnikov completed 13/18 passes for 245 yards and 4 TDs in Centennial’s 39-7 semifinal win over Bonanza. He’s been one of the most productive passers in Nevada this season throwing for over 2,000 yards and 32 TDs. He’s a mobile pocket-passer that can throw with accuracy over the middle of the field and take advantage of space with his legs. #1-Centennial faces #2-SAL in the 4A Desert championship in a matchup that will feature two of 4A’s most prolific playmakers: Plotnikov and SAL RB Malachi Johnson.

Plotnikov was among Nevada’s most productive passers this season and the top passer in 4A by a wide margin. He finished the regular season with nearly 2,200 yards and 32 TDs with 7 INTs. One of his biggest strengths as a passer is his ability to extend plays and push the ball downfield for explosive plays against broken coverage. He can add air or velocity to intermediate-deep throws and can take advantage of space on the edge in the read-option game. Plotnikov helped Centennial finish undefeated in league with all of their wins coming by 2+ scores. #1 Centennial is the clear favorite to capture the 4A state title after finishing winless in 2022.
