Miles has quickly established himself among Nevada’s best defensive backs in his first season with Centennial. The junior transfer from Arizona ranked just outside the overall top-10 in PRZ NV’s preseason update to the 2027 rankings and has looked the part with a team-leading 60 tackles (29 solo) and 5 INTs. He’s an instinctive DB that plays with elite range and physicality from his free safety spot. He brings great length, ball skills, and playmaking ability to the secondary. Miles is one of the top defensive playmakers in the 5A Southern playoff bracket.

Miles produced two interceptions in Centennial’s 37-19 win over Canyon Springs on Friday. The 6’3″/180 transfer from Arizona showed why he’s one of the top ranked defensive backs in the state with the D-I combination of range, length, and athleticism he brings to the secondary. He’s one of the most athletically gifted DBs in his class and should continue to be a top producer the rest of the season. Miles holds offers from UNLV, Idaho, and Texas St.

Miles is a kid that I think is prone to blow up anytime now, as he passes the initial eye test and has all the physical tools to go along with it- as it’s only a matter of time until the flood gates open on this kid. Excellent length as he sizes up with a 6’3″ 180lb frame with room to add mass. Rangy FS that did a great job patrolling the back half and showcased excellent ball skills and instincts, and is a willing tackler with a low POC. He was a dynamic piece for Central last year (recently transferred to Cesar Chavez), flashing the ability to be dangerous with the ball in his hands as they used him in a variety of ways. Miles currently holds offers from Texas State and UNLV.

Electric athlete that is a game changer in all three phases. Projects as a safety right now that has good range and is equally effective in coverage and run support. Smooth in his back pedal and plays with good leverage/pad level to quickly change directions and burst out of his break. Has the short area speed to close space coming downhill and the long speed to cover deep. Like his key play diagnosis skills, he makes quick decisive reads without hesitation. Plus ball skills, he times out his jump and competes for the ball in the air confidently and consistently. Attacks the ball carrier in run support with good angled pursuit and brings strong contact at the POA. Two offers to date but his recruiting will pop as the cycle progresses.
