Nevada 2027 Recruiting Update: Recent Commitments

<p><em>Taking a look at recent commitments for some Nevada's top 2027 talent.</em></p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Pulefaasisina announced his commitment to San Diego St. this month. The 6'3"/290 OL/DL out of Sunrise Mountain was one of the biggest 2027 stock risers last fall after showing major upside in the combination of size, violence, and physicality he brings to both sides of the ball. He's a powerful athlete that can move his feet and drive bodies off the ball. The 6'4”/255 defensive tackle posted 52 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and 18 TFLs last season and was one of the biggest risers in the postseason update to the PRZ NV 2027 rankings. He's a high-upside athlete for the position that possesses the speed, length, and quickness to win at the LOS and create havoc in the backfield. He brings versatility in his ability to play inside or out wide, possesses the speed and motor to track the ball down, and strikes blockers with power and leverage. The 6'3"/180 safety out of Centennial quickly established himself as one of Nevada's most talented DBs in his first season with the Bulldogs last fall. PRZ NV's seventh-ranked prospect is a ball-hawk in the secondary that can tackle and cover at a high level. Totaled 77 tackles (37 solo) and 6 INTs as a junior. The state's top-ranked ATH has been a top-10 overall prospect in his class since his breakout sophomore season and has continued to position himself as one the best playmakers Nevada has to offer. He's a skilled wideout with great speed, length, and route running. Totaled 610 yards and 11 TDs on just 32 catches a season ago. PRZ NV's top-ranked EDGE rusher was one of the most productive defenders in the state last season racking up 45 tackles (38 solo), 7 sacks, and 20 TFLs as a junior. He's a long, athletic rusher that can dominate OTs with the speed, skill, and technique he brings to the table. The top-ranked RB in PRZ NV's 2027 rankings has been one of the highest ranked playmakers in the state for several seasons now and has continued to prove his talent and production on the field. He's a well-balanced runner that can make explosive plays with speed or power and is a dangerous player in space. The top-ranked offensive lineman in PRZ NV's 2027 rankings is a massive presence at 6'5"/300 that has shown his ability move defenders off the ball and wall off pass rushers from his LT spot. He was one of the biggest risers on the offseason recruiting trail adding offers from Arizona, Oklahoma St., Boise St., San Diego St., and others over the past several months. The 5'11"/175 DB out of Bishop Gorman had been flying under the radar prior to this offseason but has gained some traction on the recruiting trail the past few months with the athleticism and playmaking ability he mostly showed on special teams in 2025. He showed his talent in the secondary prior to transferring to Gorman and should have more opportunities to show his skillest this fall. The star WR/DB out of Faith Lutheran has been one of the biggest risers on the offseason recruiting trail after picking up his first set of offers from Army, Northern Arizona, and Montana St. since February. He put together a breakout season on offense leading the Crusaders receiving corps with 636 yards and 8 TDs on 45 catches as a junior and showed high-level speed, twitch, and route running ability. He holds good length to his 6'1”/175 frame, is strong at the catch point, and adjusts well to the ball in flight.
