Van played very well as a Senior in 2023. He led the Winton Woods Warriors to an 8-win season where they averaged 20.2 points per game and advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs. He does a good job of reading the coverage and delivers an accurate ball to all three levels with solid arm strength. He exhibits good accuracy when passing on the move as he rolls out. He shows good mobility as he exhibits above-average play speed as he outruns all defenders and scores on a long TD run. He displays great mental toughness as he elevates his play in the redzone.

In 2022, Van’s awesome play helped lead the Winton Woods Warriors to a 12-win season where they averaged 39.9 points per game and advanced to the 3rd round of the playoffs. He sees the field very well and makes good decisions as he finds the open receiver. He shows very good accuracy as he delivers the ball to the correct shoulder of the receiver giving him a chance to maximize YAC. He also passes the deep ball with great accuracy and touch. He exhibits very good accuracy while on the move when rolling out. He stands tall in the pocket and shows good poise when a defender is in his face. He demonstrates solid mobility as he is able to pick up a first down on his own if need be.

He displays good mobility in the pocket as he keeps his eyes downfield with good poise when there is a defender in his face. He displays quality arm strength as he passes the ball 45+ yards with very good accuracy and touch. On short and intermediate passes he shows a smooth release before delivering an accurate ball with good velocity placing the ball in a spot where only the receiver can catch it. On zone reads, he shows good elusiveness in the open field as he picks up a first down with ease.
