Koy had a great Senior season in 2023. His outstanding play was a bright spot in the 4-7 season of the LaSalle Lancers. He plays primarily as a CB. Against the pass, he does a great job of reading the hips of the WR and displays very good play speed as he stays in phase with his man. He displays good ball skills as he locates the ball and plays through the hands of the WR to create a PBU. Against the run, he quickly keys and diagnoses the play, plays with good leverage and delivers a nice form tackle near the LOS preventing a gain of significant yardage.
Blake played very well as a Senior in 2023. His very good play helped the Withrow Tigers to a 12-win season where they averaged 37.4 points per game and advanced to the 4th round of the playoffs. He plays as a LT. When run blocking, he shows excellent quickness as he pulls and shows very good play strength and explosiveness as he overpowers LB with ease. In pass pro, he plays with a good, wide base while bending at the knee. He uses his good play strength to negate the progress of the EDGE with elite talent and gives the QB extra time to pass the ball.
Jacob played great in 2023. He made 70 Tkl, 14 TFL, 4 Sacks, 2 FF, 2 FR, 6 PBU and had 1 INT. His excellent play helped the Lakota West Firebirds to an 11-win season where they held opposing offenses to 7.9 points per game and advance to the 3rd round of the playoffs. He plays as an OLB. Against the pass, he is very quick off the ball and exhibits excellent closing speed as he quickly finishes up with a sack. Against the run, he quickly reads run/pass and plays with a good motor in pursuit. He displays good explosiveness as he makes the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL.
Highlights
Van played very well as a Senior in 2023. He led the Winton Woods Warriors to an 8-win season where they averaged 20.2 points per game and advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs. He does a good job of reading the coverage and delivers an accurate ball to all three levels with solid arm strength. He exhibits good accuracy when passing on the move as he rolls out. He shows good mobility as he exhibits above-average play speed as he outruns all defenders and scores on a long TD run. He displays great mental toughness as he elevates his play in the redzone.
Carter had a solid Senior season in 2023. His great play was a bright spot in the 5-7 season of the West Clermont Wolves where they advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs. He plays as a NT. against the run, he shows excellent burst off the ball and uses his outstanding combination of play strength, physical toughness and use of hands to walk the C back before disengaging. He quickly locates the RB and makes the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL. Against the pass, he is quick off the ball and uses his quickness and strength to penetrate the LOS. He plays with a good motor in pursuit and finishes up with a sack.
