is a dynamic speed threat out of Baltimore City powerhouse Mervo, and his ability to generate explosive plays shows up in every phase of the game. Offensively, Baker stretches the field as a legitimate deep-ball weapon, forcing defenses to account for his speed on every snap. On special teams, he’s equally dangerous as a return man, where one missed lane can turn into a game-changing play. Baker’s playmaking extends to the defensive side as well, lining up at safety and flipping the field with long interception returns thanks to his burst and instincts. With the ball in his hands, he’s a constant threat to score. That all-around impact has translated to the recruiting trail, where Baker currently holds Division I offers from Buffalo, Pitt, and Rhode Island.

has been a fixture atop the PRZ rankings since his freshman year at St. Francis, and he continues to back up the hype with elite-level production and athleticism. Now starring at Mervo, Baker has firmly established himself as one of the premier deep threats in the 2026 class.
In 2024, he showcased his ability to stretch the field, consistently torching secondaries and turning broken coverage into six points. His vertical speed is a true game-changer, but Baker proved it’s not just about go routes, he took a jet sweep to the house, effortlessly outrunning the defense and flashing the kind of top-end acceleration that separates elite receivers from the rest.
Baker currently holds five Division I offers, including his most recent from the University of Rhode Island. As one of the most electric underclassmen in the region, expect that list to grow substantially as he continues to put defenders on notice throughout the 2025 season.

is a dynamic slot receiver with a strong knack for making explosive plays and finding the end zone. He may not have the ideal size, but he more than compensates with quickness, solid route-running, and the ability to create separation against both zone and man coverage. Baker has plays on his highlights, showing him adjusting routes mid-play and finding soft spots in zone coverage. Baker also shows good body control when tracking the ball in the air. His ability to beat safeties and linebackers—particularly on seam routes, posts, and double moves like the out-and-up—shows that he is a matchup nightmare. I’m also impressed with his acceleration off the break, sharp route transitions, and burst after the catch. From a recruiting standpoint, the only real knock on him would probably be that he has a light frame. However, when given the opportunity, Baker is a playmaker and a game-changer.

Baker proved to be a playmaker for SFA’s JV; he was a deep ball threat and made some defenses pay in the run game. In the screen game he put his speed on display covering ground and eating up yards fast.rn
