About Kaden
Expert Analysis
Corey Bailey | Prep Redzone Scout
Foster is a well-rounded running back whose game translates in any situation, showing the ability to be effective both between the tackles and on the perimeter. He runs with a blend of power and finesse to generate chunk plays. His balance through contact allows him to absorb hits and keep his feet moving, making him a reliable option in tight spaces.
On film, Foster’s lateral agility stands out. He uses sharp jump cuts and subtle jukes to slip past defenders in the open field, consistently finding clean grass after the first level. That change-of-direction ability, paired with his vision, makes him difficult to square up and tackle one-on-one.
Foster’s skill set has not gone unnoticed on the recruiting trail. He currently holds six offers, highlighted by interest from Maryland, Pitt, and most recently the University of Rhode Island, reinforcing his status as one of the more college-ready backs in this class.

is a dynamic running back whose change of direction and open-field elusiveness leap off the tape. A true space creator, Foster routinely makes defenders miss in spectacular fashion, leaving would-be tacklers grasping at air. Whether operating between the tackles or in space, his creativity, vision, and ability to string moves together make him one of the more electric backs in the 2025 class.
Foster’s skill set is built around exceptional lateral quickness and patience. He uses jump cuts and hesitation moves to manipulate defenders, showing the maturity to let blocks develop before hitting the crease. His footwork is clean, and he maintains balance through contact, turning what looks like a short gain into a chunk play.
Back in May, Foster named a Top 5 of Maryland, Pitt, Kent State, Boston College, and Toledo, but that list has since evolved. He’s added offers from Rhode Island and recently took an official visit to Syracuse, a notable development given the strong pipeline between the DMV area and the Orange.
With a senior season still ahead and a growing list of suitors, Foster is a name to watch closely as programs look to secure a backfield spark plug with home-run potential.

Kaden transferred in from SFA and then went on to have a huge season for Mervo. He rushed for over 1,400 yards and 19 TDs while helping his team to the state finals. That strong junior campaign is why Kaden moved up 25 spots in the rankings and is now the #4 overall RB in the 2026 class for MD/DC/DE.
A dynamic runner, Kaden runs behind his pads and is a nice combo of speed & power. Shows good burst through the hole and fights for yards, while having wiggle to maneuver around defenders. One of his best traits is his patience at the LOS and vision. He waits for the opening and gets behind his blockers, see the gap and then takes off accelerating past the defense.
A Power 4 RB in my mind, Kaden should garner plenty of attention this spring season and during summer camps. Look for him to have another big rushing season as a senior and a big piece to Mervo’s run back to the state championship.
