Schultz has a quick release when in the pocket. He is efficient in the short passing game, making a lot of solid throws – especially in the middle of the field. He is a physical runner in the short-yardage running game. Credit goes to the interior of the offensive line as well, but without a Philadelphia ‘tush push,’ Schultz picked up four or five yards more than once running quarterback sneaks. Late in the game, he made two outstanding plays with his arm. On third and long, the senior threw a dart to the receiver on the outside for the first down. Later, under immediate pressure, he completed a short pass to convert on a third down.

- At the My7v7 Midwest Legends Classic, I came away intrigued with the quick release that Tyson showed from the plethora of throws he made on a variety of routes from short, intermediate, and deep.
- I also was logged in watching him move thru his progressions with his good vision he showed off for the My7v7 18U team.
- He shows off a developed touch ball on intermediate routes, and from my eyes there is some development room to grow smoother spin on it as Tyson enters his senior season for the Jaguars. I also really like this young man’s poise he shows off with his pocket presence as you can tell he’s comfortable within the quick release I mentioned.
