Ty Benton has very good change-of-direction and loose hips. He can COD on a dime in space, very good acceleration and burst past the second level. Benton, at 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, is a lean tailback with time and room to grow, get bigger and stronger, and add bulk to his frame. He finished last year with 2,586 yards rushing and 27 touchdowns, and added 161 yards receiving.

Benton is very tough to bring down as a tailback. A strong finisher who falls forward on contact. While he doesn’t have much change-of-direction, Benton’s size, frame and thick build make him difficult to bring down.
