He leads all returning players in total touchdowns with 29, and he will need all of that and more if South Putnam is to return to Lucas Oil Stadium and all its glory. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound tailback is hard to bring down, has great top-end speed if he finds a crease, and is extremely productive, having rushed for 2,586 yards and 27 touchdowns. He added 1,325 yards on the ground and 68 more yards in the passing game for Maconaquah. The 6-foot-0, 190-pound tailback has legitimate speed to be a game breaker, and if he finds a crease, it's off to the races. I love his toughness, ability to run through and finish forward, and great contact balance. Taylor transferred from Cloverdale, where he had a dominant junior season rushing for 1,534 yards and 25 rushing touchdowns with one receiving touchdown to boot. His production and ability to find the endzone through having great vision, good burst, being a decisive and one-cut runner have all contributed to success. I'm anxious to see how he plays in 6A football. Brandon runs through contact, possesses good vision upfield, can make the first man miss, and moves quickly for a 6-foot-1, 180-pound tailback.
