Troy Stimpson Troy Stimpson 5'10" | 170 lbs | DB Canon-McMillan | 2027 PA is a good outside linebacker/strong safety for Canon-McMillan. His ability to read and react to the play and stop either the run or the pass is impressive. When it is a run play, he triggers up-field and makes a ton of plays. Then as a pass defender, he does an excellent job of dropping in coverage and making a play on the ball. He has a great feeling for when to cover receivers in the context of a zone defense. Stimpson is a good defensive back who should be able to contribute next year as a running back as well.
