is coming off a strong season, and he projects to be a breakout star for Canon-McMillan. Playing as a cornerback, he was outstanding last season. He made several big plays. He has the skills to cover wide receivers at a high rate. Then he made an impact as a running back. He has quickness that makes him a good running back. He is projected as the starting running back and should make a big impact for Canon-McMillan this season.

is a dynamic two-way athlete whose experience at wide receiver enhances his play at defensive back. His understanding of route concepts allows him to anticipate movements and stay one step ahead in coverage. Wingfield shows smooth athleticism and the ability to change direction efficiently, which helps him mirror receivers. His ball skills are a major strength, as he tracks and attacks the football with confidence. Defensively, he demonstrates solid awareness and positioning, rarely finding himself out of place. His versatility and playmaking ability contributed to his current standing among PA’s 2027 prospects. Wingfield’s ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball adds to his overall value. Considering his natural instincts and ball production, he has a strong case to be ranked even higher among defensive backs in the class this upcoming season.
6’0, 175, 4.13 GPA out of Canon McMillan. One of the better unoffered prospects in the entire 2027 class. Plays both ways at a high level and doesn’t look like he’s thinking at all. Natural DB instincts jump out immediately. Basketball background adds to the fluidity and movement skills. Six minutes of tape shows consistent high-level reps. This is a certified D1 player, no reason he should still be unoffered. Ivy League programs should be all over this. Major stock-up candidate.
