fits the mold of a Division I prospect with strength and size. He moves well at 6-foot-2, 210 pounds. His lateral movement was the most notable as he worked quickly in drills, showing off good sideline to sideline speed. His transition game is also strong as he exploded from backwards to forwards, attacking each drill.

emerged as a physical and instinctive defender for Canon-McMillan this past season, consistently creating problems for opposing offenses. At 6’2” and 195 pounds, Collins brings a strong blend of size, athleticism, and toughness that allows him to impact the game from multiple positions. When lined up at outside linebacker, he shows an aggressive style of play that puts constant pressure on ball carriers. Collins does an excellent job attacking the football, using his strength and timing to force fumbles and create turnover opportunities for his team. His instincts around the ball allow him to quickly react when plays break down, often putting himself in position to recover loose footballs. Collins’ physical tackling ability and relentless pursuit make it difficult for opposing offenses to maintain possession. In addition to his defensive presence, his versatility allows him to contribute on offense at wide receiver and tight end. With his ability to create turnovers and shift momentum, Collins continues to establish himself as a dynamic two-way playmaker in the Class of 2027.
105 tackles as a sophomore at Canon-McMillan. 4.2 GPA. 6’2, 195 pounds. 3.5 sacks and 2 interceptions to his name. 17 of his 105 tackles were registered behind the LOS.
Fantastic early build, especially one that suits LB/TE well. Love the alignment versatility shown off on tape. One rep you can see Collins working as a traditional OLB in a 3-4 front, next you can see Collins being split out to work in space in more traditional 4-3 looks. As his stats suggest, Collins can drop into curl/flat zones and be a big/disruptive obstacle for QBs. His athletic prowess puts him ahead of several other talented yet one-dimensional backers. Is a missile to the football when he keys and reacts. Will win the majority of his 1v1s in space, breaks down well and understands when to knife/barrel or when to square up and drive. A fantastic sophomore year to build off of. I’ll do what I can to spread his name a bit.
