How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Strong fast Receiver with great hands and knowledge of the game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a very focused dedicated team player. I strive to work hard on every play and rep. I try to lead by example by never getting outworked.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

President of the weightlifting club at Yorba Linda high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

In my time as a football player, I've developed a strong set of skills and qualities that extend beyond the field. Leadership has been a cornerstone of my experience—I’ve had the privilege of being a team captain, where I learned to motivate my teammates, set an example both in practice and during games, and foster a sense of unity. Teamwork is another key quality I've honed.

What type of college are you looking for?

The goal is to play Division 1 football at a Power Five conference, but I'm focused on finding the right fit with coaches who will help me develop my football skills and put me in a position to succeed.

Roberts led Yorba Linda in receiving last season with 611 yards on 40 catches with six touchdowns and earned Bravo League Offensive Player of the Year honors.

He joins a Crean Lutheran receiving corps that has its top guy back but graduated some other top contributors. Roberts is a versatile receiver who can play out wide or in the slot and he is good making plays after the catch on in-breaking routes. He isn’t a burner that creates a lot of separation with his speed, but he is great on 50/50 balls.

Roberts caught 40 passes for 611 yards with six touchdowns and earned Bravo League Offensive Player of the Year honors. Yorba Linda will have a new coaching staff next season but I’m sure Roberts will be a top target in the Mustangs’ offense.

Roberts is a versatile playmaker that can lineup in the backfield or out wide as a receiver. He is a physical ball carrier that looks for contact in space and finishes runs with nasty intentions. He shows a good initial burst through the first level and has good vision in tight windows with cutback abilities and is extremely tough to take down in the open field. Roberts is also a very strong route runner with consistent hands, high point abilities and tracks the ball well over the top/can create separation downfield. He provides tremendous position versatility at the next level and can be used in many ways offensively. The Yorba Linda product was one of the top players in his group at the National Preps Showcase earlier last month and has been flying under the radar up to this point but is a no-brainer college prospect.
