How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as aggressive fast and physical

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the field is that I wanna be the hardest working person on the field whoever’s in front on me I wanna out work them I also wanna be known as a leader on the field someone that is able to lead by example and when I’m on the field I’m going 100% at all times giving it my max effort.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received honor roll rewards for maintaining a good gpa.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Some skills I have on the field is leadership I always lead by example and encourage my teammates to give it their all on the field at all times also teamwork is a great thing to know how to do because it takes a team effort to win games score touchdowns and maintain possession of the ball

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Some challenges I have faced throughout my football career is I was always underestimated because of my size I wasn’t always the tallest but what I did have was I had heart I wanted to be the best kid on the field at all times and I would do anything and everything to make sure I was and I always wasn’t the fastest but as I got older I got faster and faster because I knew that I could Be great

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with not only a great football program, but also a good educational program that pushes me both on the field and in the classroom.

Cruz earned First Team All-Epsilon League this season after transferring from Centennial and is one of the more promising interior offensive linemen in Orange County.

He is violent with his hands as a pass blocker and consistently catches guys falling forward trying to bull rush him. As a run blocker, he drives his feet through contact and does a good job getting underneath the defender and using his size to leverage guys out of the play.

Cruz has plenty of varsity experience for one of the top teams in the nation in Corona Centennial. He slated in at guard during his sophomore campaign and showed he can more than hold his own. He is a violent blocker that does a good job of getting underneath defenders and snaps out of his stance quickly while creating immediate vertical push. He has well-timed punches in pass protection and stays within his frame while able to recover and anchor down if needed as well. He is a no-brainer next level kid and should also fill in nicely on the interior at the next level.
