Foster was the leading junior receiver in the Southern Section last year with 1290 yards on 65 catches with 15 touchdowns.

He looked great at the All-22 camp this offseason and has hit the weight room hard. Foster is a good combination of size and speed and he can be a matchup nightmare for a lot of corners due to his strength. His hands are strong and most his catches are away from his body. Foster committed to San Diego State recently.

Huntington Beach receiver Troy Foster Troy Foster 6'3" | 190 lbs | WR Huntington Beach | 2026 State CA announced his commitment to San Diego State last Saturday.

Foster led all junior receivers in the Southern Section with 1290 yards on 65 catches with 15 touchdowns for Huntington Beach this season. He broke the school-record for receiving yards in a season.

He had nine other offers including Colorado State, Oregon State and Sacramento State among others. Foster is the fifth player from California in San Diego State’s 2026 recruiting class.

Foster is another guy who looks bigger than when I last saw him and uses his size well in 1-on-1 situations. He isn’t a burner, but he runs crisp routes and I would bet on him in a 50/50 ball over most corners in the class.
