I wouldn’t be surprised if the 6-foot-5 wide reciever ends up a tight end at the next level with his size and athleticism where he could be a superb middle of the field and redzone target. Has a nice bit of burst and twitch off the line scrimmage, quality route runner, body control and awarness as well. Strong hands and isn’t afraid to be physical.

Lastly for today we have Tristan Walker, the tallest wide receiver of the bunch today. Walker has elite size at 6-foot-5 and around 200-pounds. With his height, one could argue that he’s better suited to be a tight end at the next level but he should be able to stay at wide receiver as well. It would be coaching staff preference at that point.
Walker has a nice burst and twitch off the line of scrimmage with quality route running skill set. His speed and route running allows him to garner quality leverage on opposing defenders as well. Makes good adjustments to the ball when its thrown his way and has a good understanding of how to control his body and his awareness of where he is on the field.
Strong hands and loves to be physical with a few blocking highlights on his tape as well. His athleticism allows him to pick up valuable yards after the catch and is tough to bring down thanks to his size. Shows a good foundation as a blocker and should be able to continue to devleop in that aspect.
Overall, as stated above, Walker might be better suit to be a tight end at the next level depending on the offense. He has great size and his athleticism should translate well to the next level – would present a nice pair of hands in the middle of the field. Great redzone target as well. Had 37 receptions for 548 receiving yards on the season. Also had eight interceptions and 37 tackles on the defensive side of the ball last year.

is a very talented 2024 two-way player that you need to watch for this season. Walker plays both receiver and safety for the Patriots and was a Second Team All-State selection at defensive back as a junior last season. He’s a very lengthy 6’5 185 who could play on either side of the ball at the next level. Walker had a very impressive 8 interceptions as a junior while helping lead his Patriots squad to a 12-2 record and an appearance in the WV AAA State Championship game. With some key pieces now gone in the wide receiver unit due to graduation, Walker should see a significant increase in targets and production on offense. He’s a big target that you can just throw it up to and let him make a play. Walker already holds a D2 offer before his senior season has begun.
