Kelly is one of the unsung heroes on the Northgate squad and possesses ideal measurables and physical upside at TE. Kelly is willing as a blocker, fires his feet, and has ample space to add play strength. Not to mention his 6’5 frame is a lot of body to run around. He projects more as a blocker to me, but does offer a “box out” option over the middle of the field as a receiver.
A physical senior tight end who could see his stock rise soon, Kelly is a big tight end at 6-foot-5 225-pounds who really shined with his run blocking during week one. He overpowered defenders with ease in the run game, playing with good leverage and eliminating them from the play. He’s a big target who could also help expand the passing attack moving forward. He’s a major weapon due to his size and aggressive play in the trenches, but can take his game to the next level if he takes advantage of the chances he may get in the passing game. He’s a physical tight end hoping to see his recruitment pick up if he continues to play at a high level.

was on my radar coming into this year, so he was someone I was already familiar with. He offers plenty of developmental upside as a TE. I think he projects more as the blocking archetype, with most of his damage coming that way. He is willing, fires his feet to displace defenders, and has room to add a lot of weight. Added play strength will improve his balance and coordination at the point of attack. Give him some seasoning in a college weight room and he will have a chance to harness his rare physical gifts.

is all of 6’5 225 and has plenty of room to add more weight to that frame. He isn’t the most productive receiver, but he plays the HB position well and holds his own as a blocker. In the receiving reps we see, he has a massive catch radius and is capable of altering his body to make grabs on the edge of that catch radius. Kelly is big, has room to get bigger, and holds his own as a blocker. He holds some small school offers, and if he ends up at that level, he will give one of those schools access to a body type at that position that they don’t frequently get access to.
