He is a smaller receiver, but doesn’t play like it. He cuts through cushion and plays with excellent body control and tracking skills for his size. He is a reliable player who can go get the ball at an elite level for a sub 6’0 receiver.

Gill is the leading receiver for Northgate. He is a smaller receiver hovering around 5’8 160, but he contributes vertically at a high level for his size. He is quick to eliminate cushion and quickly puts DBs in recovery mode. His body control and adjustment skills are excellent for his size. Gill lines up some in the backfield, and in my opinion, I think he might project better as a receiving threat out of the backfield paired with a bigger back.

A smaller, explosive wideout who can really stretch the field, Gill is a weapon down the field who can create separation and sneak his way past defenders. He follows the ball well and secures it consistently, giving the Northgate offense a major vertical weapon in the passing game. Gill has hauled in 21 passes so far this season for 331 yards and three touchdowns. His speed and ability to create explosive plays should allow him to see a new ranking in the next 2028 rankings this winter. His biggest game so far came against Northside where he caught five passes for 87 yards and one touchdown.
