This Junior to be had everyone on hand very impressed and could of been the MVP for this group had it not been for Cornell’s outing. Regardless this kid has elite corner skills and he consistently showed that going up against some of the best receivers in the state. What I said about him a couple weeks ago still holds up “Constantly facing some of the top receivers in the state, Hicks would not back down and would not take a rep off, love his competitiveness. Playing for Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, this dude can play, all the coaches on hand loved his ball skills and technique. Expect to see his name rise in our rankings coming soon, he has earned it.”

If I am being honest Hicks could of been named MVP on the day too, I was very torn but nonetheless this kid is legit! Tony Hicks Tony Hicks 6'0" | DB Springside Chestnut Hill Academy | 2025 PA is another special sophomore at Springside. Comfortable playing with or without cushion. Reps matched up against the X wideout in singe-safety sets, he’s got the talent and confidence to be the team’s top corner. Good mirror ability. Not the best tackling form yet the young man is more than willing to get his facemask dirty. Pure in his back pedal, maintains low pad level, flips the hips and Hicks is looking to locate the football immediately. Should see good production out of the young man this coming Fall.
