Despite Power Four offers out of the likes of Penn State and Virginia Tech, national recruiting sites continue to not acknowledge Howard’s prowess, neither his talent or recruiting ceiling. That will change in time, I have gone to bat with a few analysts regarding Howard being the best RB among PA 2028s, with many agreeing.
I don’t value national rankings over production and tangible offers, yet I know exposure at it’s highest level could open up even more doors for Howard in the future. He’ll be represented in time.

is an explosive running back for Springside Chestnut Hill Academy. He can score anytime he touches the ball. When he runs the ball, he looks like he is shot out of a cannon. His ability to hit the hole at top speed is impressive. Then he is also a physical runner who is hard to tackle. He also has an excellent jump-cut as he makes defenders miss easily. Howard is a playmaker at the running back position.
6’0, 187 pounds. One of the more exciting new names in all of Pennsylvania in my opinion. I’ve gone on record in the past stating that SCH Academy has an FBS prospect in development. I’ve talked to several FBS/P4 coaches about this young man, many of which agree about his potential in the recruiting scene. If I’m Will Howard, I’d keep my head down and continue to work hard on and off the field, knowing good things will eventually come his way.
Checking back in since watching his scrimmage performance back in Week 0, happy to hear he’s still dominating competition all throughout September. Three scores and 260 yards accounted for against a Lincoln defense that is underrated. 120+ yards on 20 carries against a vaunted Roman Catholic defense. Five scores and 100+ rushing yards against my Alma Mater Central HS. All three tapes are available for coaches to see on Hudl right now, all three showing off the same advanced traits that will eventually have him ranked well among 2028 backs.
Anticipatory vision, great diagnostic skills beyond his years. Can adjust aiming point on inside zone runs based on leverage and flow of the defense. Can predict pursuit angles as if he’s been running the rock for 3-5 years at this level. Understands when to press holes at the LOS to influence backers. A ton of great things witnessed on tape. Excited to keep plugging his name. Haven’t been alerted to new tape in nearly three weeks, however.
Great game against Lincoln HS!!! Offensive Player Of The Game!!! Check it out!!!
