For now, we will dive into the underclassmen classes at the program and what each prospect could provide in the future. The Inter-Ac is quickly becoming a hotbed of talent in and around Philadelphia. Let’s get to know the talent at these two programs a bit better.

Anyone familiar with my uncovering of kids knows that I love to find potential linemen prospects early. Most elite lineman prospects come into the program already showing signs of size and power. Of course, on-field development and weight room progression are crucial for any football prospect to take the leap. That being said, I have my eye on two very raw, very green linemen stationed in the stables at Penn Charter. One is a current watchlist freshman Damian Albeck Damian Albeck 6’3″ | 315 lbs | OL Penn Charter Charter | 2026 State PA . Already pushing 6’2, 295, the young linemen should be prepared to play any position between the tackles. He should be expected to play defensive line as well. Taking a look at some of the limited reps shared by Albeck, you can get the gist of the type of prospect WPC could have on their hands. He, like many on this list, has a ways to go before a ranking, as position battles are still to be had this summer.
Speaking of raw and green, how about Steven Blaker Jr Steven Blaker Jr 6’5″ | 260 lbs | OL William Penn Charter School | 2025 PA . This young man has zero tape, zero presence on Twitter. That being said, I’ll make sure I keep my eye on the 6’5, 240-pound linemen. If this sophomore develops and sees the field, I’ll be excited to shout out his name to those more important. We are a ways from that, however.
Here are two potential weapons at Penn Charter’s disposal moving forward. Two freshman prospects, both of which have dabbled with the wide receiver position. Michael Banks Michael Banks 6’2″ | 165 lbs | ATH William Penn Charter | 2026 PA is the more intriguing prospect if you’re taking the upside approach. 6’2, 185 and already seeing the field in Lacrosse.
Matt Furda Matt Furda 6’0″ | 180 lbs | ATH William Penn Charter | 2026 State PA is another 6’0 pass catcher that could see the field this coming Fall. Again, much like the linemen listed above, these two young men have no tape to dissect, we are ways away from crowning these young men starters for Penn Charter football.
This name should ring a bell. We all know of Penn Charter alum and former top-ten pick Mike McGlinchey. If you’re a fan of Pennsylvania football, you’ll think back to a time when McGlinchey suited up for WPC. Height must be in the genes, as Tom McGlinchey Tom McGlinchey 6’6″ | 205 lbs | QB William Penn Charter | 2026 State PA is seen listed deep on Penn Charter’s Hudl, standing at a whopping 6’5, only being a freshman. Tom is also listed to play quarterback. I am purely speculating here that Tom is even part of the McGlinchey family tree, I could be wrong. That being said, if a new McGlinchey lines up under center at some point in the future, I won’t be surprised. Penn Charter is hiding some serious potential.
Springside-Chestnut Hill Underclassmen
There might not be a bigger fan of Julian McFadden Julian McFadden 5’11” | ATH La Salle College | 2025 State PA ‘s game outside of myself. After seeing McFadden in 7v7 settings, as well as this coming weekend in Spooky Nook, I’m convinced I have him ranked too low, despite him landing near the top 100. I have a strong feeling this kid could come away with MVP honors on Saturday, no matter the position he attends as. SCH will have a pure two-way prospect at their disposal. McFadden will serve both as a flanker with speed to stretch the field vertically, while potentially providing some off-man coverage reps on the other side of the ball. Supreme athlete that possesses supreme confidence.
Highlights
Tony Hicks Tony Hicks 6’0″ | DB Springside-Chestnut Hill | 2025 PA is another special sophomore at Springside. Comfortable playing with or without cushion. Reps matched up against the X wideout in singe-safety sets, he’s got the talent and confidence to be the team’s top corner. Good mirror ability. Not the best tackling form yet the young man is more than willing to get his facemask dirty. Pure in his back pedal, maintains low pad level, flips the hips and Hicks is looking to locate the football immediately. Should see good production out of the young man this coming Fall.
Harry Kull Harry Kull 6’0″ | 215 lbs | LB Springside-Chestnut Hill | 2026 State PA ‘s freshman tape landed him a top-ten linebacker ranking out of me. Closer to 5’11, approaching or past 200 pounds. This should be a perennial All-Inter-Ac kid at MLB, considering he’s already producing well for his age. 55 tackles, 4 sacks, an interception to his name. Kull’s eyes are where they need to be pre-snap, he knows where to be post-snap. I’m always impressed by young linebackers who take a cerebral approach to the position early. More times than not, those prospects end up staying on top of our ranks.

Matthew McTamney Matthew McTamney 6’2″ | 250 lbs | OL Springside Chestnut Hill | 2025 State PA is a 6’2, 250-pound linemen prospect with limited tape. Right guard reps show he might be a more than viable option for the SCH coaching staff moving forward. Early reps at both guard positions should leave those developing him excited that he got a taste of both A&B gaps. Where I like the kid is at defensive tackle. To play in the trenches, you’re going to need to play with a certain temperament. You’re going to need an edge no matter which side of the ball you’re playing. I think his tape suggests he could be a tone-setter on defense moving forward. Either way, an intriguing kid to keep my eye on.
Nasir Yard
Nasir Yard
Above are three very raw athletes who could see their roles expand this Fall.
Tough to make that call for 6’0, 175-pound LB Nasir Yard. Yard’s Hudl is quiet, as is his Twitter. The kid could very well be off the team as far as I know. Yet his build intrigues me, along with some clips on Twitter.
Aaron Clark Aaron Clark 6’1″ | 180 lbs | ATH Springside Chestnut-Hill | 2026 State PA is a 6’0 freshman DB/WR. I’m unsure if he’s playing JV or varsity ball but the young man has some solid single-high safety reps, along with some productive reps when split out on offense. Very limited tape, but I have a feeling this kid can carve out a role for himself at DB.
Grayson Scott Grayson Scott 6’3″ | 260 lbs | OL Springside-Chestnut Hill | 2025 State PA is a 6’4, 300-pound linemen prospect whose size alone should have readers excited. He’s going to need to be more than just a big body in the trenches, yet I’m wondering if the staff at SCH can mold this giant specimen into a special prospect, whether that be on the offensive or defensive side of the ball.
