Doing the little things every linemen coach preaches, Ricard is rarely caught flat footed and barrels his way into defenders. One of the best in the state at not giving up ground, Ricard has a number of Big Ten programs offering the 6’3 senior to be. Perhaps his best weapon is his quick first step that gets him locked into defenders and his feet don’t stop moving until the job is done. Primarily playing at the tackle position, Ricard has the knowledge and quickness to play in the interior line if needed.

This season, Tommy helped the Hudson Explorers to a 13-win season, advance to the 4th round of the playoffs and average 28.4 points per game. He plays as a LT. When run blocking, he takes a quick first step and gets his hat across the face of the DE before winning the outside shoulder and sealing him off on a zone block with his great combination of athleticism and play strength. In pass pro, he sets up vertically and is very strong at the point of attack as he uses his good play strength and use of hands to anchor and negate the progress of the DE while maintaining a good distance between himself and the QB as he protects the blindside.
