is a tough running back and very good prospect from Hudson High School. Ferri loves contact, running through it and maintaining balance in space. He is built like a bowling ball with 200 pounds of lean muscle. Thick in his calves, hamstrings and thighs, he is hard to bring down. He picked up a South Alabama offer during the evaluation period, expect more to take notice during college camps.

Ferri picked up his first D1 offer from South Alabama over this contact period. While he missed some of his junior year due to injury, he was incredibly productive in the games he played. He’s an explosive and versatile back. With his speed he’s a threat to hit a big play any time he touches the ball.

Reno played very well as a Sophomore in 2024 where he rushed for 880 yds and scored 11 TD and caught 14 passes for 192 yds and 2 TD. His great play helped the Hudson Explorers to a 6-win season where they averaged 26.1 points per game and advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs. He displays excellent vision and burst as he finds the open hole and gets through it quickly. He quickly accelerates to top speed and is very tough to stop in the open field showing an excellent combination of play speed, athleticism and contact balance.

Ferri is a speedster out of the backfield for the Explorers. When he gets the ball in his hands he accelerates in a hurry and has the speed to take it the distance. Reno has powerful drive that he uses to run though arm tackles. Reno has good vision and is decisive in his cuts and choosing his running lanes. He has the strength to be a physical presence as a blocker in pass pro and in the run game as a lead blocker. I’m excited to see what the future holds as Ferri continues to get bigger and stronger.
