TJ is another big piece to MMA dominate defensive backfield. A tall, long, physical player who will lay the wood on receivers. TJ also offers positional versatility, mainly playing CB but can also play the role of either safety especially in a 2 deep. A strong tackler, TJ has no problem playing up close at the LOS and can also be a ball hawk in coverage. A tough match-up for any WR that will go up against Milford this year. TJ makes in presence felt in that premier defensive backfield MMA puts out on the field.

Turner Locks in Commitment to Sacramento State, Poised for Early Impact
Heading into his senior season, Turner held over 15 Division I offers from programs such as Louisville, Toledo, UNLV, Sacramento State, UConn, and Liberty, just to name a few.
A long, athletic defensive back, Turner presents a matchup problem for tight ends and slot receivers alike, especially from his nickel or slot DB position. On film, he consistently stays in phase and maintains tight coverage throughout the duration of the play—an impressive trait that speaks to his discipline and instincts in coverage.
Turner uses his size, physicality, and aggressiveness to effectively blanket bigger tight ends and remains a reliable presence in run support. His versatility allows him to contribute in multiple packages and alignments, making him a valuable asset in today’s hybrid defensive schemes.
Turner ultimately committed to Sacramento State over several FBS offers, signaling a strong belief in both the program and his fit within it. With just eight cornerbacks currently on the roster, Turner enters with a real opportunity to compete for early playing time as a true freshman.

TJ is another DB transfer into Milford Mill, and I player I have seen since his freshman year at Boys Latin. He currently holds a handful of D1 offers and should take the next step as a recruit/player this season.
Another long, lean, physical DB for Milford, I can see TJ being used in a lot of ways this fall. Mainly playing as CB, I can see him moving around playing some CB/SS as he is a strong tackler. TJ has a good frame that should get up close to 200lbs by the time of his senior season and nice length in the arms. He is physical and will lay the wood on ball carriers. TJ can play up close to the LOS or back off in coverage and be successful in both. I like the versatility in TJ’s game and should be a key piece of Milford’s defense this season.

This lengthy DB transfer has a big opportunity ahead of him. With 2 of the top DB’s in the state graduating in 2024 he will have the opportunity to step in and show his talent on a national level. Look for turner to contribute on the offensive side of the ball as well at receiver. He has the athleticism and speed to break off some big plays. Since making the move to SFA turner has landed offers from Louisville and Toledo.
