The recent Wofford commit is another valuable member of the MMA DB group. A true CB, Ky’ree is a lockdown man coverage player who has a nose for the ball when it’s in the air. Able to play press or off coverage, with great reaction time and the ability to quickly break on the ball. A ball hawk who will get your PBUs & INT’s. Ky’ree comes over to Milford by way of St. Frances and looks to be a key addition and makes that MMA defense even scarier this fall.

Kyree Murphy Kyree Murphy 5'11" | 160 lbs | DB Milford Mill Academy | 2026 State MD , a talented defensive back who began his high school career Calvert Hall then at national powerhouse Saint Francis Academy, has transferred to county contender Milford Mill Academy for his upcoming season. Known for his lockdown ability in man coverage, Murphy made a name for himself at Saint Francis by consistently disrupting passing lanes and coming away with multiple interceptions.

Recruiters have taken notice. Murphy has been steadily adding offers throughout the offseason, with recent scholarships extended by Sacred Heart University and Central Connecticut State. Those bring his total to eight and counting.

Now at Milford Mill, Murphy will have the opportunity to shine in a featured role, potentially elevating his stock even further as he enters a pivotal stage in his recruitment.
