Damon Ferguson Jr. Damon Ferguson Jr. 5'10" | 165 lbs | ATH MD continues to build his case as one of the more reliable defensive backs in his class with another standout performance against Broadneck. The 2026 prospect showcased his versatility by securing two interceptions in the matchup, each highlighting a different strength of his game.
On his first takeaway, Ferguson displayed discipline and focus, staying engaged on an extended play before locating the ball and shutting down a would-be touchdown in the end zone. His second interception was equally impressive, flashing his zone coverage range and ball skills as he closed off the flat and elevated to take away a hole shot.
With three interceptions already this season, Ferguson has proven to be both instinctive and opportunistic. His ability to make plays on the ball while maintaining sound coverage fundamentals forces quarterbacks to think twice about testing his side of the field. If opponents keep challenging him, don’t be surprised if Ferguson’s interception total continues to rise.

The top rated RB in the 2026 class for the MD Rankings looks to be a driving force for Milford this season. A slapped together back who is a great combination of speed & power. Damon racked up over 1,300 rushing yards and 16 TDs last season and there is no reason to expect anything different this year. Milford Mill will be learning on Damon to carry the offensive load and be a big time playmaker for them which I see no reason why he won’t live up to that. The Pitt commit is easily one of the top players in the area to watch this fall and can lead MMA far in the playoffs.

Damon is another player I have seen a lot over the last few years and he continues to impress and improve his game. Holding double digit Power 4 offers, it’s no wonder he is the #1 rated RB in these rankings.
For his junior year he racked up over 1,300 yards rushing and 16 rushing TDs. A track runner as well, Damon runs a verified 10.89 100M and that speed shows up on film. He is a threat to take it to the house every time he touches the ball. A nice build for the position, Damon is rocked up and well slapped together. He runs behind his pads, hits the hole and goes…if he gets a lane he is taking it for a big play. Also possesses fluid hips and quick feet. Combined with his great vision, it allows him to attack the hole when sees it and make quick cuts to create space for himself and avoid defenders.
Ferguson is a player with speed, explosiveness and elite playmaking ability. He is in position to have a huge senior campaign for Milford Mill next fall.

Damon comes in as the top ATH prospect in his class and the #8 overall 2026 prospect in MD/DC/DE area. He holds a total of 20 Power 4/FBS offers and I only expect that number to increase. I see Damon having a standout season and gaining even more national recruiting attention.
A playmaker on both sides of the ball at RB & CB, Damon rushed for 739 yds with 8 TDs and on D recorded 2 INTs with 5 PBUs. A good frame and well put together kid, he’s got nice lean muscle that will fill out nicely with yoked up build. Damon has top level speed being a track sprinter as well. He has a 100M PR of 10.89, while also running the 200M, 400M, and Long Jump. That speed shows on film, as he is a threat to take it to the house every time he touches the ball. On offense, Damon runs hard behind his pads. Hits the hole and goes, if he gets a lane he is taking it for a big play. One defense he displays twitchy hips, quick feet with fluid movement in & out of transitions. Damon is an impact player on both sides of the ball and will be a highlighted player on the scouting report for all of Milford’s opponents this year.

Ferguson is one of the leading prospects in the class listed as an athlete from his dominance on both side of the ball at DB and RB. He has good size and even better speed, he is quite accustomed to the Milford program after making his mark last season, expect him to have a number of explosive plays out of the backfield putting his track speed on display.

Ferguson had big play after big play for CHC’s JV on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. He’s a big play threat with breakaway speed. Ferguson has been excelling this track season, most notably recording a 50.6 in his 400-meter dash at Nike indoor nationals a few days ago.

Damon is an absolute playmaker for CHC, with a high ceiling. I’ve had the opportunity to evaluate this prospect prior to his debut at Calvert Hall at Maryland FBU practice and the translation is seamless, even better from what I witnessed in person. He’s very versatile and is a gamechanger on both sides of the ball. Get started early with this prospect he already has 1 offer from UNC-Charolette.
