Koby leads a very talented and deep DB group for Milford. The NC State commit is a rocked up big body player who offers lots of versatility as a player. He can line up at CB, Safety, physical in the box player and could even see him growing into a hybrid SS/OLB at the next level. Koby has been a key player at MMA since his freshman year and is a leader for their defense. Look for him to be a key contributor a defenders offenses always need to be aware of on the field.

Koby Sarkodie Koby Sarkodie 6'2" | 200 lbs | DB Milford Mill Academy | 2026 State MD is a long, versatile cornerback with an intriguing upside. His size helps him to disrupt passing lanes, outjump receivers for the football, and contest throws (as seen in highlights where he breaks up a pass upon contact). Sarkodie has natural hands and tracking ability. In a way, he plays the ball like a wide receiver. A lot of his plays show him in zone coverage. One play in his highlights shows him in press coverage, where he covers the receiver perfectly down the sideline near the goal line and breaks up the pass. Sarkodie also has a few plays where he shows his value as a blitzer, sacking the quarterback a few times and making plays behind the line of scrimmage. His overall speed is hard to gauge from his highlights, but as I mentioned earlier, he covers a lot of ground when tracking the football. Sarkodie is a willing tackler. I see him as someone who would have no problem transitioning to a rover-type defender at the next level.

Things didn’t go the way Team Blurrr would have liked, yet it’s hard to leave Koby Sarkodie Koby Sarkodie 6'2" | 200 lbs | DB Milford Mill Academy | 2026 State MD off of this list despite the struggles. Ranked as a top-six DB in all of Maryland, a highly sought-after prospect, one who has racked up 30+ offers after three years of work over at Milford Mill.

I’m not schooled on all things Maryland football. As a Pennsylvania guy, I could still watch Sarkodie work in person and quickly surmise that I was watching a Power Four prospect. Committed to N.C. State football early in February, the elite DB was quick to locate balls headed his way. Sarkodie would stay on the hip of pass-catchers throughout several routes. Sarkodie stayed in-phase particularly well while covering in-breaking routes. Had Blurrr won a few more games, the Milford Mill would be higher on this list.

Sarkodie has 28 total tackles (21 solo) in nine games this season.

Koby has been a favorite player of mine since seeing him as a freshman. Talk about looking the part, he is all of 6’2″ and rocked up. Had added ~25lbs. of muscle from freshman year to the start of last season, and he will continue to add great bulk to that frame.

At CB, Koby is incredibly smooth and fluid in his movements, flipping his hips and riding the receivers hips and being able to quickly COD. He uses his size and elite length well, getting into correct positions and getting his hands on the ball for a lot of PBUs. A high level overall athlete, Koby has a nice long stride and is a strong leaper, able to go up and get the ball at the highest point. Koby is a physical DB as well, strong jam at the LOS and will through his body into the play. With his size, athleticism and physical style it is no wonder opposing team just straight up avoid throwing to size of the field. Koby is a player that should garner national attention in my mind as a DB who could also develop into a hybrid S at the next level.
