After playing his first two high school seasons for Colerain, Burton has transferred to Winton Woods. I expect Burton to become an immediate offensive target for the Warriors. At 6’4 he’s a long and athletic receiver. As a route runner Burton is a fluid runner who makes strong and decisive breaks. Where, Burton really excels is high pointing the ball. He’s a natural hands catcher who’s comfortable catching the ball away from his body. With his hands and length, he provides a huge catch radius for his quarterback. When the ball is in the air, he has good timing in his jumps and is able to make the athletic grab. Burton has gotten D1 interest, but I expect that attention to turn into offers this summer and fall.

This season, Terrell’s great play has been a bright spot in the 0-10 season of the Colerain Cardinals. He plays as a WR where he aligns on the outside as an XWR. He shows solid quickness off the LOS and tracks the ball well in the air on go routes. He uses his great height, long arms and very good hands to catch the ball in traffic at its highest point on 50/50 balls. After the catch is made, he exhibits excellent contact balance as he drags multiple defenders a few yards. He is an elite run blocker as he uses his very good use of hands and play strength to generate movement at the point of attack against OLB driving his man several yards off the ball.
