Strong and compact frame at 5’11” 245 lbs. that is suited for a Center. He flashes plus initial quickness from the snap to the contact point. He’s able to get a clean snap and then quickly position his hands to engage his block. Low center of gravity gives him a strong anchor to absorb an oncoming rush without giving ground. Shows good pre-snap awareness to see the front and adjust blocking schemes. Plays well with his eyes to locate a block when he’s uncovered in pass protection. Started on varsity as a sophomore and is one to watch as he continues to develop.
