‘s stat line just doesn’t really tell you what you’re looking at. He led Perry in rushing last year with 322 yards, but it’s not like he was the only guy getting touches or anything close to a workhorse role. They had two other backs over 300 yards too, so the ball was getting spread around. When Talen did get his chances, though, you could see it — he’s got real speed, and he’s not shy about lowering his shoulder and finishing runs. But honestly, I like him even more on defense. He’s one of those athletes who’s strong enough to play linebacker, but also quick and instinctive enough that you don’t want to just stick him in the box and call it a day. He can handle the run, he’s solid in coverage, and he doesn’t get caught out of position trying to do too much. That’s why nickel feels like the sweet spot for him in a modern defense. He’s got the range to work in space, he’ll come downhill without hesitation, and when he gets there, he hits. With a new coaching staff at Perry and a bunch of returning talent around him, there’s a real chance his role expands on both sides of the ball. He might not have put up eye-popping numbers last year, but if you watch the tape, it’s pretty obvious there’s a lot more in there. And if that shows up this season, don’t be surprised if he makes his ranking look way too low.

A true multi-phase athlete who brings a solid blend of versatility, athleticism, and instincts at OLB, Safety, and RB. At all spots, he shows a high football IQ and natural feel for the game with sharp anticipation and a quick trigger that consistently puts him in position to make plays. Defensively, he excels at diagnosing plays early and closing space in a hurry. Whether it’s flowing downhill from the second level, setting the edge as an OLB, or roaming the back as a safety, he plays fast and under control. He’s a strong tackler in the open field that accelerates through contact to finish ball carriers to the ground aggressively. Offensively, he transitions smoothly to running back where his vision and balance show. Has the speed to turn the corner and the instincts to find running lanes, as well as the ability to contribute in the passing game when needed. He’s a complete player who can impact all three phases of the game. Comes in ranked #100 overall and the #14 two way athlete.

is beginning to become more of a predominant weapon among this young Perry offense. He had multiple catches out of the backfield to ensure the offense continued to gain positive yardage last night while also getting a good bulk of carries to keep the Brophy defense on its toes. He had a monster truck against two Brophy defenders in the 4th quarter, putting an extra emphasis on one of his big runs. But that’s not all Frazier did, as he played all three phases of the game with a few tackles at the linebacker position and had a 45 yard kick return to help set his offense up nicely close to mid field. A clear cut physical athlete who is aiding his team in multiple ways, but look out for Frazer to continue to be a receiving back for this Perry team out of the backfield.

‘s film that he’s just a freshman, making it all that much more impressive. Frazier has a rare combination of speed and power, able to run you over and then pull away from everyone else on his way to the endzone. He has a mean stiff arm that often comes out on his way down the sideline, leaving players lying in the dirt as he keeps on going. Not just a threat out of the backfield, he gets lined up in the slot and looks very natural catching the ball. His routes aren’t the crispest, but his speed and quickness get him the separation he needs anyway. As a physical player, he uses that to his advantage when he’s asked to block in the passing game. Frazier doesn’t seem to have any issue with blocking players bigger than him. He uses his strong base and attacks so that he’s the one delivering the blow. That physical play continues on the defensive end where Frazier uses his speed to fly at the ball. He can cover a massive part of the field, and few have the speed to get away from him in coverage. Frazier is already an impressive all-around back who can truly contribute on the defensive end, there’s no telling where he’ll be with a few years of development.
