If I’m a defensive player who has to tackle Okocha I’m finding unconventional ways to bring him down because I wouldn’t be able to get my hands on him. Easily one of the most explosive and twitchy athletes on a football field when he wants to be. The short-area agility he has along with the ability to stop and start is second to none. If you get the ball in his hands, you can sit back and enjoy the show because it’s fun. Okocha made a ton of defensive players look silly again this weekend trying to touch him to stop the play. I’m a big fan of Okocha and will be until he graduates because that level of explosiveness is rare.
