While he may be a bit young and raw at this very moment, Simmons has talent and an upside. He’s best down the field making catches and picking up yards after the catch. His ball skills are fantastic and he’s made some nice looking 1-handed grabs already. Over the next few years depending on how he develops and plays on the field, he could quickly take off. He’s a willing blocker downfield as well and seems to be willing to learn.

I’m very intrigued with Simmons and what he can be down the road. He’s listed at 5’9″ but certainly seems and plays much bigger than that. He’s a fairly aggressive DB who hits like an LB, especially when he’s coming downhill. He may only be 5’9″ but he knows how to use his frame and put his weight behind it. He’s not the most explosive athlete on the field, but he’s more than capable of playing in the 2nd and 3rd levels. His future on the field is wide open because his playstyle can fit just about any system.
