About Simon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is aggressive and serious. Whenever Im on the felid I take my job very seriously. I have great technique and form which allows me to peform great.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a very strong mentality and I play with drive. My purpose is to be able to provide for my family and make my parents who support me a lot proud. On the felid I have a competitive personality.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am apart of my school BSU (Black Student Union) program and I find pride being able to connect with others in my community.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have done a lot of community service work during last spring and hopefully including spring of next year. I find it very important that we give back to those in need. My families constantly donates back home to Ghana to all my family.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

As an athlete I have dealt with Anxiety. I have learned how to use my anxiety to fuel me rather than distract me when playing.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that welcomes me and has a family like team culture. Football means so much to me and I want to be able to share that love for it with guys who play hard and look foward to new opportunities.

Simon has all the tools to be a great offensive tackle. The young Brooks School OL is extremely athletic and strong. He was lacking the refined footwork and hand placement at times, but he made up for it with true athleticism and strength. Simon shows all of the physical characteristics to be elite in pass protection tackle and was equally as impressive in the individual drills with his ability to get off the ball and stay on blocks.

He has a great first step and keeps a low center of gravity. His overall strength and base made it hard for defenders to escape blocks. He was extremely coachable and took well to all the instruction both in the individual period and during 1v1s. He was extremely hard to beat and had a very high level of compete during the 1v1s. Simon was a great surprise and got better throughout the duration of the camp.

Overall, Simon might have the most upside on the entire OL group based on pure athleticism and strength. Will need to gain weight to be a D1 OL, but will have time to redefine his body.
