About Simon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My game is built on speed, precision, and intensity. I play fast and compete relentlessly, bringing emotion and explosiveness to every play. I take execution seriously and hold myself accountable on every rep, whether I’m running a route or defending an opponent. If I feel I didn’t win a rep, I use it as motivation to get better.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I compete with a strong edge and take pride in holding myself accountable on every rep. I use setbacks as motivation to improve my focus and execution. I hate losing, but I’m learning how to channel that emotion into discipline, preparation, and growth. Off the field, I’m naturally more introverted and observant, but I open up quickly within a team environment.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am launching a nonprofit athletic accessories brand called MARK. with my dad in honor of my non-verbal autistic cousin. Our goal is to donate 100% of proceeds to autism charities, including the Eagles Autism Foundation. We designed and 3D-printed our first product prototypes ourselves, which has helped me learn leadership, accountability, and the value of giving back.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I lead by example through discipline, preparation, and consistency. I train multiple days a week with my wide receiver coach outside of school, focusing on both physical and technical development. I believe leadership comes from showing up every day and putting in the work to improve.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced is balancing high expectations for myself with patience in my development. I’ve learned that progress comes from consistency and discipline, and that every rep is an opportunity to improve rather than dwell on mistakes.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college football program that prioritizes development, discipline, and competition. I want to be in an environment where I’m challenged every day and pushed to reach my potential as a player and a student.
