made it much easier to run through the A and B gaps on the right side of the line for North Polk. The Comets often — intelligently — ran the ball to his side in short-yard situations, either moving for a first down or a score.
A stout OL in one-on-one matchups with defensive tackles, too, Hauser held his own in pass-protection and run-blocking, stonewalling opposing defensive linemen at the line of scrimmage before they even get a chance at the Comet ball-carriers. Hauser received an offer from Drake on April 28.
Despite big hits absorbed through graduation losses, defending state champion North Polk kept up a high level of play in 2025. That occurred thanks to returnees and new guys raising their levels of play. Perhaps nobody has taken a bigger step forward than Hauser. The junior has consistently been one of the Comets’ top performers this fall. When watching him operate during highlights on his Hudl page, we witness a versatile O-Lineman finding success on the inside and outside. Quickness and athleticism allow for it. Hauser is technically sound, operating with leverage and keen hand-placement. He’s physical and plays through the whistle. Hauser should be on the radar of plenty of schools on the next level.
