I’ve witnessed the young man complete 68% of his passes to a variety of wideouts. A ton of adversity was thrown his way this season, especially early on. Stoner’s leadership and play on the field helped the Bearcats stay the course, all the way up to the final seconds in an incredible fight against Central York this past month. I’d have no problem having Stoner lead my football team.

The tape was an absaolute clinic put on by the lefty, who has honestly been great all year despite some tough losses early on. Stoner’s decisiveness with the football, the command and accuracy he delivered each ball with was teach tape at this level. Stoner completed 22 of his 33 attempts, targeting a myriad of weapons, not solely relying on stud Jahiem White Jahiem White 5'9" | 190 lbs | RB William Penn | 2023 State PA . There was a clear attention to detail in all things, what’s best, Stoner plays with this level of poise and confidence night in and night out. 71% from the field, 700+ yards and double digit scores in three games for the top five quarterback.

Tough to find a senior quarterback who has had a better offseason than Sam Stoner Sam Stoner 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB William Penn | 2023 State PA . Stoner has seen his hard work pay off thus far. Combine the improvements he’s shown in the weight room, the improvements seen to his release, and the strides he’s made in the classroom and you’ve got yourself one of the better quarterback prospects in the state. Hard to imagine this kid only has two years of football under his belt. Happy to see D1 schools begin to pull the trigger. Stoner holds offers out of Southern Utah, Saint Francis, Towson, Shippensburg, and Millersville. This weekend will mark the first time I see the young man work in full pads, excited to see him prove his top five position status.
