Ryland had a great Sophomore season in 2023. His solid play helped the Trotwood-Madison Rams to an 8-win season where they held opposing offenses to 16.9 points per game. He plays as an EDGE. Against the pass, he shows great use of hands winning battles with his hands inside before disengaging. He plays with a very good motor in pursuit before finishing up with a sack. Against the run, he shows good physical toughness as he disengages, quickly locates the RB before delivering a nice form tackle near the LOS preventing a gain of significant yardage.
