About Rylan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My game style is fast and explosive, with the ability to adapt quickly to in-game changes. I focus on using speed and agility to create opportunities while staying flexible to adjust strategies as the game evolves

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a disciplined, growth-oriented mindset and work hard in the off-season to improve my skills. I spend time studying film, techniques, and game schemes to deepen my understanding of the sport. My commitment to preparation reflects my strong work ethic and my drive to perform at the highest level.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I participate in 7v7, track. I plan to do volunteer work and will update my profile once completed.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m a vocal leader who also leads by example. I believe in setting the standard through hard work and accountability. Integrity is at the core of everything I do—I don’t take shortcuts and I push myself and my teammates to give their best. My focus is on building trust, fostering teamwork, and creating a culture where everyone strives for excellence

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced some medical challenges in 2023 when I had a bone infection and was hospitalized at Mott Children's Hospital. I've learned to face my fears and trust god. I was lucky enough to receive a personal message from Kirk Cousin's while in the hospital. A quote he left me with that I truly believe in, "Tough Times Don't Last, Tough People Do".

What type of college are you looking for?

Somewhere that I can grow and feel supported both academically and physically. I would like to remain in the Midwest, but am open to all options.
