Waldrop has long been, in my opinion, the most shockingly underrated player in Georgia. He is a big, athletic 6’5 205 QB prospect with outstanding arm talent and record shattering production. He can make the layups, firing the ball accurately in the short areas and playing in good timing with his WRs. However, the potential for the big play is off the charts. He can effortlessly launch the ball over the safeties and is not shabby as a runner in the open field. Also, perhaps most importantly, he played well in the Georgia Elite Classic, rising to the occasion against good competition.

• Smooth athlete for his frame. Escapes from pressure easily and can be a chain-mover with his legs.
• Super easy, fluid passer. Very quick throwing motion and generates plenty of velocity on the ball with just the flick of his wrist. Elastic arm capable of mixing up throwing angles.
• Calm in the pocket. Does a good job of quickly getting his feet under him before he throws. His feet, hips, eyes, and arm all appear to operate in good timing and sequence with one another.
• Arm strength is absolutely there. Can rip the ball across his body on the move and quickly fire it to the far side of the field. He knows how to mix up velocities to fit certain throws too.
• Ball distributor with experience making throws to all levels of the field. Throws with good timing in the short, quick-read game, but he can place the ball over the safeties too.

He is a massive, athletic, smooth lefty with effortless arm talent and tremendous technique. He has put up insane numbers during his high school career too. Whoever lands his signature might land the steal of the class.
