Johnson is very good, but left tackle starter Patrick O’Brien with his 6-foot-7, lean 280-pound frame, could be even better. Johnson has quick feet, great first-step quickness, is very instinctive and can really create matchup problems at the corner. Very good and physical run blocker, can work to the second level and quickly fires forward, displays good feel for contact and keeps head on a swivel to look for more defenders upfield. Love his athleticism and potential. Purdue commit.

last year in the season opener against Mount Carmel. O’Brien gave Purdue his verbal commitment, and the Boilers are getting a big and athletic offensive lineman who is a mauler in the run game. I love his effort and physicality. He drives defenders off the ball, possesses good hand timing and latch, and is a very good second-level run blocker who can fire forward to the second level.

Patrick broke through early to earn offensive line snaps at Moeller. He’s well-balanced in his talent as a run blocker and pass blocker. O’Brien had a great camp season over the 2025 offseason, and I expect O’Brien to continue his list of offers throughout his junior campaign.

O’Brien would start for a good portion of varsity programs across the state of Ohio. When you play for a program like Moeller, however, most players will have to wait their turn. At 6’6 O’Brien has a really nice combination of size, length, and athleticism. He’s a versatile lineman who shows the ability to dominate in both the run and pass games. In the run game Patrick shows off good feet and the explosive strength to finish violently. In the pass game he bends well, has a strong kick set, and heavy hands. With a strong camp season, I would expect O’Brien to start to get strong D1 interest if not offers.
