up-close, in-person, and the 6-foot-7, 305-pound prospect has the goods: a tall, long, athletic offensive tackle who can be hard to get around just due to his sheer mass. Johnson has incredible arm length, athleticism and a high ceiling to excel at the next level.

many times over the years, and the 6-foot-7, 305-pound prospect has potential that’s through the roof. Strong, tough, physical, with rare size and arm length, Johnson has the chance to be a cornerstone offensive tackle for whichever top college team lands him. Johnson flashes being very good in pass protection and has great use-of-hands.

has developed into one of the top prospects in the Buckeye State. At 6-foot-7, 305 pounds, he has a big, broad-shouldered frame that can’t be coached. Although I’d like to see him play with a little bit more bend and leverage, he has a very good first step for his size, fires forward to the second level and can be a road grader in the run game. He has only gotten better and better at Moeller, and I’d expect another big step forward during his senior season.

Kalel is coming over from Taft and will look to make an impact for Moeller. Kalel has impressed over the offseason, picking up several offers from prospect camps. He’s massive and will add size to an already great offensive line. He is disciplined with his hands and strikes well. His frame makes it difficult to get around him.

Huge, huge upside recruit with his size and frame. Good first-step quickness and displays good use-of-hands. Needs to work on bending a little bit more, but displays good hand use and strike timing. Frame makes him hard to get around and you can’t coach his size. Physical player who is always looking for someone to block.

Kalel is having an excellent Sophomore season in 2024. His great play has helped the Taft Senators to a 7-2 record where they have averaged 41.6 points per game. He plays as a RT. When run blocking, he fires out quickly and shows great use of hands and play strength as he easily drives the EDGE several yards off the ball before finishing with a pancake block. In pass pro, he keeps his feet moving and negates the progress of the EDGE with his good play strength giving the QB extra time.to pass the ball.

At 6’7 280 Johnson already possesses the desired length college coaches are looking for in a D1 offensive tackle. He debuts at #32 overall and the #2 offensive lineman in the class. While Johnson is a little raw in his technique, his size and athleticism more than make up for it. KJ does a good job of getting quick depth to cut off the speed rush. He also anchors well when the pass rusher looks transition from speed to power. I’m excited to see what Johnson can get done in the run game. The rising sophomore will have an opportunity to blow up onto the D1 scene with some strong film.
