The new Mt. Zion Academy addition Octavion Taylor Octavion Taylor 6'0" | 220 lbs | LB Oscar Smith | 2025 State VA is a bad man on that defensive line. The Oscar Smith transfer was already on our radar prior and now has perhaps even more opportunities to get the recognition he deserves. The 2nd team all region defensive tackle in 2022, Taylor plays with a high motor and constantly commands double teams. You just love to see his effort on every play, particularly when he chasing down running backs downfield, the kid’s motor is non-stop. While the interest in him from colleges is not there yet, before the end of his junior year that will be bound to change.
