displayed in person further solidified that notion. A real 6’5, a real 290. Drone footage showed he work almost exclusively at guard during 1v1s. A ton of wins. As consistent as they can get, I can see Maldonado execute the same techniques over and over, a testament to whoever is training/developing the young man. He looked to approach each rep with the same mentality and tech, Maldonado set the tone during each 1v1 rep. Fantastic balance through contact, a kid you can rely on to recover quickly, yet those instances were few and far between at this event. A power absorber thanks to a strong lower back and fantastic build. No defender aligned across Maldonado rivaled him in size and strength, it was up to him to establish dominance utilizing both of those traits. He did just that. Great mirror man, can stay in front of lateral movers thanks to technique moreso athleticism. Maldonado is athletic, let’s not disregard that area of his game. Maldonado has the flexible hips and choppy feet necessary to stay in front of quick IDL. I think he could be a capable tackle at the next level too. Was named a top-five OL performer, was also named to the All-Camp 1st-Team list.

This is a Division One player.
Make sure you have this young man on your board. A few great reps here at L/R guard.

Maldonado was a favorite of mine before the showcase and he proved he is a division 1 caliber lineman last Friday. He is a stud at 6’5 and 290 lbs., very impressed with his measurable and his work during the individual sessions. Ill save my overall thoughts on the offensive line as a whole later, but Maldonado out of the Pennington School in New Jersey was hands down a top performer. One of the top ranked prospects in New Jersey for the class of 2026, I would imagine he is going to be high on FBS and FCS coaches radar.

is trending in the right direction and is fun to watch. The 27th ranked recruit out New Jersey, Maldonado is 6’5 and 290 lbs.! Tonight he will have his hands full during the 1vs1s and it will only benefit to put in good work with many college coaches watching. Maldonado looks like a FCS level prospect with room to grow, looking forward to seeing him compete later.

from Pennington School is a lineman with immense potential. At 6’5” and 290 pounds, he showcases versatility by playing on both the offensive and defensive lines. However, his skill set truly shines on the offensive side, likely his long-term position.
What immediately stands out about Nisaiah is his explosive get-off. His ability to forcefully fire off the ball allows him to overwhelm opposing defensive linemen. His hand usage is impactful, though he could benefit from consistently keeping them inside for maximum efficiency. Nisaiah’s lower-body strength also provides excellent leverage, as his athleticism shows in his ability to generate power from his posterior chain.
As a pass protector, Nisaiah utilizes his length effectively. He communicates well and works seamlessly with tackles in tandem. While his athletic traits make him stand out, his game improves significantly when he operates with a straightforward assignment, showcasing why he thrives more on offense than defense. With proper development, Nisaiah projects as a collegiate guard with the tools to make a significant impact.
Reclassifying to the class of 2026, Nisaiah enters this year aiming to refine his game and gain more powerful film. If he continues to develop, it’s only a matter of time before Power 4 programs take notice and add him to their recruiting boards.

before his time at the Pennington School. 6’5, 290 pounds. Ranked as a top ten defensive lineman in his class yet is a two-way trench player gifted on both sides of the ball. Was a 2025 at Queensbury High, located in Queensbury, New York. A formidable basketball prospect (center).
Maldonado doesn’t have a mid-season tape on Hudl yet, but has a single-game cut-up from every week gone by. If my memory serves me right, I can recall Maldonado wreaking havoc as a 3/5-tech against the Hill School. Maldonado is a guard prospect in terms of projection, yet he’s a serious nuisance to block when aligned at IDL/DE. Surprised to see him unoffered at this time.

is new to Jersey. So, let’s properly welcome him: how you doin’? Now that the formalities are out of the way, the New York Import has some very impressive film and very impressive size. At his last school, Queensbury, we see the massive prospect totally bench press offensive linemen back two yards behind the line of scrimmage as though they were just 135lbs on a straight bar. This ability to reestablish the line of scrimmage makes him a threat to make tackles for losses by scraping on plays away from him. Furthermore, we see him keep his feet working through contact to accomplish this as well. For a man his size, Maldonado runs extremely well. This was evidenced as the big man hustled downfield and stopped a pick 6 that was going back the other way.

Maldonado was a hidden gem in New York, and the OL prospect from Queensbury will transfer and reclassify at the Pennington School in New Jersey, home to multiple P5 lineman. Maldonado, makes the move to help boost his recruitment and is a talented name amongst a strong 26′ OL class in New Jersey.
