One of the top up-and-coming 2027 backs in the state, Gardner is a quick, shifty back that runs extremely hard for someone his size. He’s listed at just 5-foot-9 170-pounds, but he’s slippery and tough to grab and tackle for opposing defenders. He gives tremendous effort and knows how to power-through tackles for extra yards. He’s also one of the fastest backs in South Georgia who can score from anywhere on the field. He’s a big-play machine who is looking to take off for a big run every time he has the ball. He’s showing easy Power Four potential and is in store for a breakout junior season if he continues to play at this level. He’s one of the top running backs to know in Southeast Georgia right now.
